Employees in the Carrboro Police Department provide a vital public service by acting as first responders in emergency and crisis situations; by investigating and solving crimes; by offering a variety of community services to individuals, local businesses, and community organizations and agencies; and by participating in ongoing training to stay up to date on current policing techniques, to achieve the department’s bias-free policing goals, and to provide community services in a fair and professional manner.
